For Sale: an MLB authenticated game used base hit dribbler off the end of Yordan Alvarez’s bat btwn the Houston Astros vs. the Chicago White Sox on 6/20/24. MLB hologram: PX147670.
Most likely the shortest distance base hit (5 ft.) in his career, this baseball has a permanent scuff coming from the end of Yordan’s cupped bat as it scraped some of the leather off the ball. See the scuff up close in pic 3. Pics 8, 9 & 10 show the baseball and the piece of leather flapping on the side of it as it rolls towards third baseman Sosa.
