NEWLY MADE DVD of exclusively C&NW scenes in and around Dixon, Nelson, Sterling, Clinton IA, Rochelle and more. Well shot and edited. Newly transferred to DVD from original master tapes using new transfer software. Extended sequences of Dixon Local 4296, Rochelle before the rail park, way cars, SD45's, Presidential F units turning at wye in Nelson. All natural sound in all seasons. Video from 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1994-95.

Nelson Rd/Woodland Shores/NQ; many runbys and under coaling tower
4296 switching Dixon Publishing
4400 and 4322 sequence under Nelson coaling tower
Rochelle diamonds before the rail park- lots of Paducahbilt lease-era locos
Derailment at NQ- as it happens with live scanner audio- rest of the morning clean-up work
Clinton yard flat switching and cab tour of a new GE
Maintenance man testing ATC on lead loco as it came up the SI and before entering E/W main and another highballs south w/ way car
Dixon local (4296) working airport industrial park and then shoving down the town tracks to cement plant and finally going "on the ground" at the end of the evening
F units coming into Nelson with various "business" trips. Some with passengers dining etc and turning on wye and return to Chicago
SD45's, MP15s, lots of Geeps and most sequences of the entire train.
A few sequences of still shots (5 sec each of scenes as early as 1971- autorack derailment at Dixon on overpass of Illinois Central, Amtrak detours, etc).
Time on the original video was spent documenting the surroundings of the railroad and location where shots were made; buildings, weather, cars, people. Not just train after train after train. Also, a scanner is audible in many scenes of the very action being caught on video.
