This Barry Bonds autographed gamed used ball was used during his historic home run game on August 7, 2007. In which he passed the great Henry Aaron to become Baseball’s All-Time Home Run King. This is a true one-of-a-kind collectible because it was personally owned by Barry Bonds and comes with a signed letter of provenance attesting to his ownership. Ball was placed up for auction in 2018 by Barry himself hosted by Goldin Auctions.
Ball comes with 3 authentications on the autograph: PSA, BECKETT, Bonds25. The autograph on the letter of provenance comes with PSA authentication. The baseball comes with MLB authentication hologram label to memorialize the game use (BB623061).
In a recent Goldin Auction, a similiar signed 756 HR game used ball example sold for 82. This ball is less desirable from a collector’s standpoint as the Bonds used blue ink for his signature and black ink for his inscription evidencing that they were not done at the same time. In the same recent auction, a game-used ball signed and inscribed by Bonds from his 714 HR game sold for ,126. See photos for evidence.
It is likely that the ball being sold here would have far exceeded the 714 ball ,126 final sale price given it is a more desirable game and it is perfectly signed and inscribed with all the authentications.
The actual HR ball sold at auction for over 0,000 and now sits in the Base all Hall of Fame Museum in Cooperstown, NY.
