    Description

Rare original antique print from an 1890s illustrated journal.
It depicts the famous skye terrier Cairnach at Windsor Castle. Queen Victoria's dog Cairnach was a Skye Terrier that lived with the Queen in Windsor Castle and Osborne. He was described by her as ‘such a beautiful dog’. ‘Cairnach’ died in 1844 when the Queen was at Buckingham Palace.
The print is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10 x 14 inches (25.5 x 35.5 cm). The picture fills most of it, measuring about 8 x 8 inches, with a caption below it. There is text above and below the picture that could be trimmed before framing.
The page is in excellent condition for its age.
There is text/photos on the back of the print.
See scan for an accurate view of the condition.
This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
