Freshly Professionally Tanned- True Wild Yellowstone Bison Robe-harvested by a Tribal Member-with paperwork. One of a kind handmade item-Tanned by a Montana Native with 25+ years of experience-on the banks of the Flathead River-on the Salish & Kootenai Reservation here in Northwest Montana. These tanned wild robes can be used for everything from keeping you warm in a snow storm on top of a mountain, to complimenting the floor in front of the stone fireplace in the finest  million dollar home. Roll one up and put it on your Harley for a bedroll! Use it for a canvas for your finest painted masterpiece! I sleep with one as a  top layer on my bed all winter-it seems to give me the most intense dreams! Good energy for sure.
2-3 year old Bull, 95% Prime Silky hair, Awesome gold tipping throughout, well defined darker stripe down middle mane, extra dark chocolate/black edges. 80" long by 70" wide-around 39'sq ft. total-fairly large robe!! Assorted medium/small skinning holes-have ALL been hand sewn. The leather on this Bull turned out a Natural Darker shade-very natural looking. Extra soft and supple with a great suede. Large beautiful piece of leather!! Most wild yellowstone robes have many natural defects. Grizzly bears, wolves, volcanic guysers, other bison, and tourists:) leave these blankets with many scars. This blanket is much cleaner than most I Tan, but has numerous hairless scars-both sides of the rump/base of the tail/ and rib sides. These natural defects only add to the authenticity of the hides origin, making them only as Nature can.
Although I have hundreds, this is one of my last larger full/clean bulls. I finish every blanket after auctions end to give you the newest/freshest Tan available. Please allow 3-5 days for finishing after purchase.
You will notice in my pictures, I've included a pic of a genuine Yellowstone ear tag. These are extremely rare, and are NOT included in the sale of the robe, but can be purchased separately. What IS included in this auction is one genuine Yellowstone Bison Bull blanket, a copy of a tribal Bison tag, the genuine paper federal tag attached to animal for transport, and my signature with brief harvest description.
