With the Yankees trailing 8-4 going into the bottom of the 9th inning, Aaron Judge became the 3rd American League player to reach 60 home runs in a season with a 9th Inning Solo home run off of Wil Crowe. Aaron tied Babe Ruth for second most American League home runs in a season with 60.
After Aaron’s 60th homer in this game, the Yankees loaded the bases and Giancarlo Stanton hit an Ultimate Grand Slam to win the game 9-8. This was only the 32rd Ultimate Grand Slam in MLB history. Fittingly, for this historic game, Babe Ruth hit the first in 1925.
