Jhonny Peralta 2011 ALDS Game Used Bat vs CC Sabathia and the Yankees MLB COA

Description

Presented is a black X-Bat Model PPM Pro Maple baseball bat used by former Detroit Tigers SS Jhonny Peralta in the second inning of Game 3 of the American League Divisional Series against CC Sabathia and the New York Yankees. With the series split one game apiece between both teams. Detroit was faced with the opportunity to capture the all important swing game that would bring them one win away from eliminating the Yankees. The Tigers were able to do just that, defeating the Yankees 5-4 to give them the 2-1 series lead. Peralta used this offered bat in the second inning against CC Sabathia, breaking it on a ground ball double play. The bat features a significant crack in the handle, and the barrel of the bat contains several ball impressions, blue paint transfers, and cleat marks.
