On June 10, 2021, the Los Angeles Dodgers visited the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park. Julio Urias started for the Dodgers, while Mitch Keller went for the Pirates.
In the top of the eighth, Kyle Crick was on the mound. Mookie Betts led off. CRICK HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw a 93.4 mph four-seamer for a called strike. (Yes, that means Jacob Stallings also touched this ball!!) Crick then threw a 78.4 mph slider, and BETTS SMACKED THIS BALL TO KA’AI TOM IN LF FOR A LEADOFF SINGLE!! This ball was then retired. Betts would later score off a Justin Turner single to Bryan Reynolds. The Dodgers went on to win 6-3 behind hits by Betts, Turner, Cody Bellinger, Matt Beaty, Zach McKinstry, Gavin Lux, and Urias.
This ball is MLB Authenticated for both pitches from Crick to Betts, including Betts’s single to Tom. Please note that this ball does not come with a case. Thank you for purchasing!!
