[Please note that this ball does not come with a case.] On May 8, 2019, the Cincinnati Reds visited the Oakland Athletics at Oakland-Alameda County Stadium. Sonny Gray started for the Reds, while Brett Anderson was on the hill for the A’s. In the top of the first, Nick Senzel led off the game. After Senzel worked the count to 2-2, Anderson held THIS BALL in his hand. Anderson threw a 91.4 mph sinker. SENZEL DROVE THIS BALL 394 FEET TO CF, where Ramon Laureano caught it. (Yes, that means Laureano touched this ball too!) Anderson got this ball back. Joey Votto walked to the plate. Anderson threw a 92.1 mph four-seamer, and VOTTO FOULED OFF THIS BALL!! This ball was then retired. The Reds ended up losing the game 5-4 despite hits by Senzel, Eugenio Suarez, Kyle Farmer, Curt Casali, Jose Peraza, and Josh VanMeter.
