Up for bid is a game used baseball hit for a Double by Rafael Devers on May 25, 2019 o
ff Astros Pitcher Brad Peacock in Houston at Minute Maid Park.
Rafael doubled on a pop up to second base; however, the ball hit the roof well above the field.  The baseball was hit 363 feet!!!   If the ball did not hit the roof, it would have been a sure home run!
The baseball was featured on Twitter by the Astros Authentication manager!  The baseball has a very distinct mark from hitting the steel roof.  See the images of the baseball as well as articles featured on the exact baseball!
The baseball was removed from play and authenticated by Major League Baseball following the hit.
The MLB authentication record is shown and can be found in the online database.
