STEAMSHIPS - EASTERN STEAMSHIP LINES INC. DOUBLE HANDLED CUP WITH SIDE LOGO
Offered today is a double handled cup from the Eastern Steamship Lines Inc. The cup is approx. 6" wide from handle to handle, and 3 3/4" wide from one edge of the cup to the other edge of the cup. The cup is approx. 2 1/4" tall. The cup features the line's logo and flag on one side of the cup, with an ornate blue and white design around the cup from each side of the logo, and also on the handle. The design is a blue stripe with cut-out diamond shapes in the center of the stripe. The bottom of the cup has the man'f name "Mayer China", also the words, "Est. 1886" "True Ivory" and the word "Marine" in blue letters, and the number "18" in blue. The cup is in very good condition no cracks or chips. There is some blurring on the blue color in the bottom ring of the logo. There is some wear or roughness on the bottom where the cup sat in the saucer (this does not show when the cup is upright).
