Up for bid is a game used baseball used in 2023 ALDS Game 2 between the Minnesota Twins and Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park on October 2, 2023.  This baseball was pitched by Montero to Kepler, Taylor, and Kirilloff in the Top of the 8th inning.  Montero struck out Kepler for his 2nd of 3 Ks in the game.  Taylor then grounded out to third baseman Alex Bregman.  Kirilloff then took three pitches.
The baseball was thrown for 8 pitches to 3 batters for 2 outs - a ton of action!
In this game, the Twins beat the Astros 6 to 2 to tie the series one game a piece.  Pablo Lopez collected his 2nd win of the 2023 postseason.  Kyle Farmer hit his first postseason Home Run.  Carlos Correa added two doubles.  Yordan Alvarez hit his 3rd Home Run of the 2023 postseason in the loss.  Jose Altuve collected two singles, his 105th and 106th career postseason hits.
The baseball was removed from play and authenticated by Major League Baseball.
