    Description

UPDATE on the condition of this light-up Clock!
This is an awesome Vintage 7UP Advertising Wall Clock and measures approximately 18" High, 12" Wide and 5.5" Deep.  It keeps time very well after I have had the clock switched on for a week. The
light comes on and it stays on
. I have added an image that shows how great the clock looks with the light on and off. Read on!
This item will be shipped with copious amounts of bubble-wrap,  padding and an additional box.  Effectively, the clock will be double-boxed for safer shipping and delivery. Also, the fragile fluorescent light bulb (brand-new that I purchased) will be packaged separately, off-set from the case of the clock for security. I have fashioned a special "compartment" inside the inner cardboard box for the light bulb.  See the last picture of the package and packaging for peace of mind.  The special "compartment" for the light bulb is on the left in the photo.
Check out my reviews and also see buyers' comments on the professional packaging as well.  We do not skimp on packaging materials here as none of us have time to waste on things that could have been reasonably prevented from taking place.
Please, study the several images very carefully.  They will go a long way to providing a fairly good overall impression on the
    condition of the clock.
Light comes on and it stays on,
after I swapped out the "light starter" after getting a brand-new one. The lamp is also brand-new which I paid about for. The pull-string works perfectly to switch the light on and off.
The panel behind which the light bulb is, is missing.
It keeps time pretty very well based on the fact that I have had the clock switched on for a week now. I have reference the accuracy of the time to an atomic clock.  Quite surprised personally, at how well this clock keeps time. The mechanism (the long "rod") to adjust the clock hands and hence the manual setting/adjusting of time works.
Plastic of the clock face has a couple of pieces missing from the perimeter but you can only see this if you open up the clock. The screws that where there aren't there as well. I replaced the remaining 4 screws that anchor the clock face to the case of the clock with brand-new ones. The clock face does stay put and is fixed to the sides of clock case but it is slightly "wobbly." I will apply heavy-duty tape and a piece of styro-foam to the area of the largest missing piece to help ensure that the inevitable "rattling" during shipping won't compound the issue of not having the clock face solidly anchored to the case of the clock on all 4 sides.
Some yellowing of clock face visible due to its age.  The clear plastic cover over the front has a blemish on the top left hand corner and there is small crack around the center of the bottom (see images 3rd and 4th image). Some minor "scuff marks" can be observed on the plastic perimeter of the cover, but I only included images of the larger ones as those minor ones are actually not that easy to see.  Should you want additional pictures, please contact me and I will shoot more pictures for you.
