This baseball was pitched by Holmes to Alvarez in the Bottom of the 9th inning.  Yordan than singled on a ground ball to second baseman Gleyber Torres for his 2nd of two hits in the game.
The baseball was thrown for 1 pitch.
In this game, the Yankees beat the Astros 5 to 4.
This game marked the first game for Juan Soto as a Yankee.
Oswaldo Cabrera hit a Home Run for the Yankees in the 6th to come back and tie the Astros.  Alex Verdugo then hit a sacrifice line out in the 7th, scoring Aaron Judge, to take the lead.  Juan Soto collected his 1st hit with the Yankees, a RBI single in the 5th to score the team's first run of 2024.  Anthony Rizzo was hit by a pitch AND Anthony Volpe was walked in back-to-back at bats with the bases loaded to score the team's 2nd and 3rd runs!
